About:

We are looking to formally release a Skylake DMG and are gaging interest at this time. If you or someone you know has a Skylake system we would greatly appreciate if the ACPI Tables as well as a IOREG be extracted from the system and send to us at the following E-Mail Address:

AKern@RampageDev.com

Based on the amount of files that we receive as well as feedback from testing we could release a DMG before the end of the Month.

As for the current DMG’s will continue to support them as well.

    • Definitely interested! I don’t currently have a Skylake system, but I will make the jump if there is a skyline DMG and support documents.

  1. Skylake here! No DMG. Should I try with Haswell?

  3. I’m willing to buy something like the ASRock H170M-ITX/ac or the Gigabyte GA-H170N-WIFI to get it to work with IGPU and El Capitan. Is that something you could work with, Andrew? Any mITX alternatives that would make it easier to get OSX running?

    • Size does not matter. I would look at the Gigabyte or Asus offerings as AsRock have issues with UEFI booting still…

      • Ok, no asrock then. Wat about the ASUS B150I PRO GAMING/AURA? There are two versions, one without, one with an unspecified WIFI adapter. Safer to take the one without, and then take one of the Wifi adapters that are in your guide?

  4. I have the Maximus VIII and its atx, full compatible with this guide, only changing OptDrv to 2. I don’t use SSDT. I read lot of threads about problems with mothers with wi fi or bluethoot.

  6. Purchasing GA-Z170X-UD5 TH. There seems to be reasonable success. What do you think the prospects are for working thunderbolt 3? (Eventually)

  7. Any news on the skylake process. I’d much rather use a guide from here than from another site…
