  3. Hi,

    System Specs:
    Motherboard: Asus H97i-plus
    CPU: Intel i5-4590 3.2ghz
    GPU: Intel HD 4600
    SSD: Corsair LX 128GB

I followed the step by step instructions and successfully installed Yosemite. I have used this Haswell DMG but did not copied the SSDT since I don’t have a discrete VGA anyway (or should I still copy it?).

    Problems:
    1. No network. I have tried both the AppleIntel1000 and the 1000e kext but still doesn’t work. I’ve used 1000e with my unibeast + multibeast installation before and it’s working but with clover it doesn’t work.
    2. No audio. I followed the instruction from the dmg but cannot get it to work.

    Please advice! Thanks.

    • You failed to install a SSDT creating your problem. Please use any SSDT either Nvidia or AMD version. Just use one. Please do not mix other install methods with mine as this will break the install. Post a IOREG after installing the SSDT and restarting so we can sort this out.

i use the MSI Z97 PC Mate with an i5-4460 and the onboard graphic. all runs smoothly except the audio – there is none. System report shows nothing under audio. i installed the correspondending ssdt for my mobo, first the nvidia – no sound, then the amd: same result. any suggestions?
2nd problem: if falling to standby, i can only reset the hard way and reboot to get back to yosemite.

  14. Hello! Thanks for the guide!!!

My only problem is, that the automatic boot doesn’t work. When I turn on the computer, then I must press the enter at the boot screen. I see that in configplist is set to 5sec, but it doesn’t work. Can you help me?

    Reply
    • The config list is correct. You need to read the clover documentation and make the required changes.

      Reply
      • Or just delete the Clover folder from mounted EFI drive, and then install clover again + configplist + SSDT + kexts?

        Reply
        • No. Just follow the DMG as stated. If you need to need to replace Clovers HFS driver for the alternate thats fine.

        • Okay, but I first must delete the RC script…I had follow your guide, the only change is, that I had install the RC Scripts too, and change the HFSPlus.efi. Maybe the RC Scripts make the trouble(won’t automatic boot)?

        • The Yosemite is installed, so I speak about post install…how to remove the RC Scripts? becouse isn’t in your post install guide.

    • Hi. I had the same problem but I read the clover guide and found out the anwser. Go to EFI / Clover / Config.plist

In boot section, you have to change “MacHDD” for your disk’s name.

      Boot

      DefaultVolume
      MacHDD

In may case, for example, I changed “MacHDD” to “Macintosh” that is the name of my disk.

      DefaultVolume
      Macintosh

      That is all.

  15. I’m sorry, that I make so many post on your site, you can delete it after.
So, I just select the things in Clover, which is in your guide in DMG? The RC Scripts will disappear if I uncheck it in Clover?

  17. Hello,

First of all thanks Andrew for your work for the hackintosh community.
I installed OSX on my MSI Z97M Gaming. I installed clover bootloader and all nescessary kexts. All is right except for CPU power management.
I tried to install your ssdt in order to get proper cpu management but I lose sound when doing it (used toleda clover command). Is there something I’m missing?
I tried to reinject native AppleHDA then reboot with SSDT and run Toleda patch but I get an error message.
I hope you’ll be able to help me.

    • SSDT on the DMG has nothing to do with power managment. Also why are you not following the DMG Read me. At no Point should you be doing anything with Clover and Audio.

Please reinstall the System and properly install the files provided on the DMG. Until then I can not look into the issue as I can not trust anything on the System.

      • Hi,

I’ve been doing a fresh install following step by step the readme file and as previously when ssdt is loaded (I had to do a reboot to load ethernet kext and be able to download the audio patch) there is no way to do the last step (patching audio).
Bellow is the error message I get:

        /Users/reup/Downloads/audio_RealtekALC-master/audio_realtekALC-100_v1.0.4.command: line 247: [: ==: unary operator expected
Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem
        No system files were changed

I tried without the SSDT and it worked on my previous install.
Do I really need to use the ssdt file provided? What does it bring exactly?

        Thanks

    • It is but to boot you need to mod the BIOS.

      Reply
      • Asus tech support said there is no oprom on that module and that I would need to disable csm as your guide says anyhow for bios and that I would have to set as raid. It will still be AHCI. I believe these settings would be for windows. No idea if setting raid would work in macos?

        Reply
  22. I think I have mistaken what you meant by Mod. Edit the Bios settings or actually mod the bios? I read on some boards that do not have the M.2 connector they used a PCIe to M.2 converter and had to extract the DXE driver and insert it into the bios using mmtool. Not sure of the exact procedure. Won’t Clover’s DXE 64 bit driver or equivalent enable boot without modding the bios with the Z97-Deluxe?

I’ve followed the guide and now I have my Gigabyte Z97X UD7 TH under Yosemite 10.10.2 with Thunderbolt ports working without hot swap (for me not necessary) and 5.1 dolby surround thru hdmi port of my Nvidia GT 740 with 3 monitors connected and one Yamaha Dolby Surround connected between the 3rd monitor which is an LG 3D TV. I’ve tested the machine with an AVID Media Composer 8.3.0 with a stereoscopic and 5.1 dolby surround project and everything is ok (I’m a video editor and I’m working on a 3D documentary). I’ve noticed that the motherboard shows the “51 code” (memory initializing error) and when a try to shutdown it restart instead of turning off. Another little weird thing is even if I’ve installed the Nvidia web drivers the system doesn’t want to use them. I can say even if there is the 51 error code, the mobo doesn’t shutdown and the graphic card (the card is a Nvidia Gt 740) is detected as a Nvidia cheap model, everything works fine and I can use this machine with AVID and Final Cut Pro without problem. Any idea to solve the shutdown issue and the “51 error code”?
Thank you and sorry for my english.

  42. Hi Andrew,

Following your guides, I’ve managed to install Mac OS on my Z97X-UD5H board.

Everything seems to work, however there is one little issue.
The audio plays up sometimes, almost randomly. I can boot into Yosemite, only to find audio crackling and no actual sound coming out. I then restart the machine and it all works fine. Then next time I restart, there is a chance that I get no audio. I installed everything as detailed in your last step of the DMG.

This is more of a question than an issue, but is there a way to just boot into Yosemite, bypassing the Clover boot menu?

    Thanks Andrew.

I’m moving from Uni/MultiBeast Mavericks, which worked at first attempt, to Yosemite because using a GTX970 instead onboard HD4600 graphics. I read that you can’t install it on Mavericks, tried but it didn’t recognise it.

I found your Clover guide and after reading the install and the post install guides questions I followed both guides step by step from A to Z with onboard HD4600 graphics (took out 970 for later install). I got Yosemite 10.10.3 installed at first shot but… no audio.
When tried to run the Audio Patch before 1st Restart, it said that no codex was found and no Input/Output devices showing at SysPrefs/Sound. I restarted and then tried again and this time it run as expected and I got the same Terminal Saved Output as the one included in the downloaded folder.
Restarted again and at SystemPrefs/Sound I got Input/Output devices!!! connected mini plug to MB green output but no audio, tried another devices and black output but none of them are working.

    Any help will be appreciated!

I was testing sound with volume keys, LOL!!!! I was dumb enough, frustration helped a lot, to not trying another method, but how I would guess that the sound at volume keys was an OPTION in Yosemite? I’m using OSX since 1st release…

Every, EVERY, went smooth with your guides… If you blind follow them you are guaranteed to forget about troubles!

  53. Hi everybody!

I encourage all of us for a little donation for the big effort that Andrew is gifting here. Not only his knowledge but his wisdom, patience and all of that’s for free!!!

Without him, people like me will be sitting at the very bottom of a dark cave, trying to guess what to do. But instead of that I have a full working station!

I have full support for my 1600MHz ram with XMP detection=yes, before with Multibeast I can’t even select Profile 1 at the Bios ’cause it won’t boot. Got my 4790K running at 4 / 4.4 GHz Turbo. Flawless audio. Sleep is working as expected.
Boot from UEFI (Mac like). Ethernet flying. GTX970 working… Everything works!

And HE did it!!! He support us, so we need to support him.

    Thanks Andrew!

  56. Andrew, thanks for the great guides. I was able to effortlessly install 10.10.3 on a Gigabyte z97x-ud7 th with i4790k.

    Two questions:
    1) When booting into 10.10.3, after the initial black/white apple logo screen with the progress bar, I get a second logo screen, with the multiple horizontal apple logos and some tearing/horizontal lines. Bootup continues normally, so it appears to be cosmetic, but is there any I need to do to correct this?

    2) I have no fan sensor data, is there anything I can do to get the sensor data to show?

    Reply
    • 1. Non issue.

      2. What fans do show up and what app are you using. Please don’t install Kexts not provided on the DMG if you did remove 3rd party kexts.

      • Thanks for the reply Andrew. I’m using iStat menus. No fan sensor data shows up at all, just CPU temp information. I used only the kexts provided on your dmg, and did not remove or install any other kexts.

Additional question – do you have a recommended way of activating TRIM support?

        • Hi,
I also have your issue number 1 and would like to get rid of it. Did you fixed yours?

          Thanks.

        • Ok. Use another app to verify. Works here on the same board.

Bin patch for Trim. We are working on a Storage/SATA/SAS Guide which will not be done until next month.

        • Andrew thanks for the help! Will try a different app to monitor the fan speeds – do you have any particular favorites?

Ryan – as for the boot screen, I have not attempted to do anything with, and it appears to be cosmetic

        • Andrew, I would like to add an AMD card to my system (Sapphire r9 280x), right now I am running intel graphics. During my initial install of your Haswell DMG, I placed the motherboard appropriate AMD SSDT into the “patched” folder. Should this be sufficient to get the graphics card working when I install?

        • Yes. For your Brand and Model GPU that is all that should be needed.

        • Thanks Andrew – do I need to alter config.plist so that ATI = True? How about Intel = True or False? And is it ok/recommended to turn of intel graphics in BIOS?

        • See my AMD Documentation Page.

        • Andrew, thanks for the help with the R9 280x, worked great OOB. Came up on another issue – have you had anyone had issues with the ethernet hanging during large file transfers (50+ Gb)? Using the mobo intel ethernet (ga-z97-ud7 th) with the intel kext from the Haswell DMG. Works fine all the other times, but will consistently hang and be unrecoverable (other than via reboot) when I perform distributed encoding with Compressor jobs. Thanks

        • That’s a issue with the Driver.

      • Andrew, do you suggest HWmonitor to get temperatures from GPU and CPU? Thanks!

        Reply
        • Yes. DO NOT INSTALL THERE FAKESMC OR PLUGINS. They can create issues as the FakeSMC on the DMG is keyed for the SMBIOS being used and there is not. More goes into the kexts then people think. 🙂

I would recommend that you install using the UEFI method provided here on Rampage Dev and then following the instructions on the Haswell DMG. If there are still issues I would gladly help with them.

  62. SSDT z87x from Haswell Guide: If Audio ID=0 in system profile, you should fix this before apply Toleda patch. The way I fix it was apply ALC 898, to get ID, and after the patch.

If not proceed in this way you should reinstall applehda.kext native or reinstall all the upgrade or combo again.

These files are to be extracted from within OS X, is that correct? If so, can the OS X install be minimally functional (e.g. no audio; no speedstep; and…?). I would like to assist with this board if it would be helpful to other prospective Hackintoshers.

I have a Haswell system [Gigabyte Z97X-UD7-TH,i7-4790K LGA 1150,GTX 960] that I installed OSX 10.10.4 on using XXXXXXX and XXXXXXXX with the XXXXXXX boot loader. Is there any reason I couldn’t take your Haswell DMG and follow the instructions in it to change my system to start using Clover. This assumes I use set the BIOS appropriately on startup.

Thanks in advance for the favor of a reply.

    • You cant do this due to the broken install method that you used. Your current install method in short created a broken system which can not be corrected without a clean and native install outlined in are install guide. Then and only then can you apply the DMG.

If I enable thunderbolt in Bios, even if I’ve altered the mode to Legacy, the booting speed is still very slow.
After plunging Apple Thunderbolt to Ethernet adopter before and after system start up, I still saw no thunderbolt ethernet work. It seems my thunderbolt ports don’t work at all.

        • Same motherboard, Z97X-UD7 TH

But I have slow boot speed after enabling thunderbolt in Bios..

I also set Peripherals > Thunderbolt > Security Level: to Legacy Mode, but the boot speed is still slow.

        • Please do not worry about boot time nor mod, change or edit any system files or files from the DMG. Stop rebooting your computer every 5 mins and then boot time does not matter. 🙂 This is a non issue nor should any time be spent working on it.

  70. Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your guide. It was successful to me. I have two questions.

I noticed that Fakesmc.kext version is outdated then I replaced it to the newest 6.18.1394. With that I could install the Nvidia web Drivers without the crazy fan problem. Nowadays Nvidia web drivers support in beta phase definitions like iMac 14.2 and others.
The only bug with HwMonitor is that the gpu fan is stuck at 19 rpm. I’ve tested the temperature of my graphic card and is ok. The fan speed is normal even with Unigine Heaven Benchmark: min. 33 °C and max. 85 °C., similar to Windows.
Also, I bought Corsair HG10 N780 and hydro H75 but I don’t install yet (to prevent any disaster).
    Question 1.
What do you think about this? Is it only cosmetic or this bug affect to performance?

    Question 2.
After installation, can I remove your ssdt and change it for a dsdt made with MaciAsl? Without your ssdt, I noticed that Pc starts and reboot faster. The only thing that I don’t like it was my card doesn’t appear in slot-2 in Nvidia manager panel but under slot-4 (a new and solitary place).

    Thanks for all.

    • You do not need to use a edit DSDT as we use SSDT to edit the DSDT so you can update the BIOS without issues.

You need the Retail Drivers with your GPU.

And are install is native and not a broken shot gun installation method that leaves the system permanently crippled.

  78. Lovely. Just have to say mad props to you guys for rolling out a pretty simple install kit here. Rolling out this clover + SSDT patching native solution this way is pretty darn elegant compared to other methods that shall not be named. My last major build was a 1366 that required hand patching/compiling dozens of DSDT edits 😛

    Questions!

    1. I presume that is basically the toleda acpi (ssdt/dsdt) audio patch method bundled in the SSDT, correct?

    2. Does this SSDT prevent / allow overclocking?

1: I boot using my usb stick as set up from this websites steps with the kexts on the stick and I can have my ethernet kext in the SLE and I have internet.

2: I boot using my hard drives efi without kexts in it and have JUST fakesmc installed from this sites guide. If i ever have fake smc and the ethernet kexts in SLE at the same time it gets stuck at missing bluetooth. I have tried all ways I can think of, using different kexts (yes first i used the ones from the DMG). Keep in mind I followed this sites instructions to the letter, as this was the site that got me to get a working install for yosemite. is rootless=0 needed at all? With the same kexts from the DMG used, my yostemite install works fine, it seems el capitan has the issue.

I have a stable Hackintosh with 14,2 SMBIOS. My only problem is that I’m not getting my turbo speed (3.7 GHZ) and I’m not going down to at least 1 GHZ even without doing anything. I have completely followed your guide regarding SSDT generation and Power Management.

Maybe changing my SMBIOS to 15,1 which have the same specs with a real mid 2015 iMac would solve my issue.

Can you please provide a SMBIOS for 15,1 specially for my specs above.

I have solved my issue though. What I did (for future reference with the same MB) was NOT to generate the SSDT-1.aml under your guide and REMOVE generate C-states, P-states and C6 on my config.plist. Now my CPU runs at 800 Mhz at minimum and spikes up to 3.65 on heavy load.

My next issue to solve now is the slow boot time when booting thru SSD. Using my USB installer to boot just takes 3-4 seconds while booting thru the SSD takes 20-30+ seconds from Clover screen to Login screen.

Thanks anyway for this site. More power!

I’ve followed the guides directly, however I’m currently forced to use Caffeine because every time the machine “tries” to go to sleep or hibernate, the screen goes blank as if it is going to sleep, then I hear the PC Fans rev up to full speed on and off several times while the screen is blank, sometimes it even reboots without me even touching it. If I wake it from sleep, I usually get the login (but the machine was never REALLY sleeping), but if I wake it after it sitting overnight, a period of time where it should’ve entered a hibernate state, the machine comes up to the Clover bootloader screen. Any ideas for this? I’ve seen custom DSDT mentioned several times, but I can’t seem to find a good, coherent guide.

On attempting to wake, the system starts and remains ‘up’ for several moments, then spontaneously shuts down and re-boots back into El Cap just fine. During the wake failure event the monitors get no signal.

Looking in Console I found an event with the correct timestamp in the Powermanagement section: “Feb 26 15:40:41 localhost powerd[49] : Drivers Failure during wake due to GFX0(),SAT0():”.

I understand that you do not support Sleep explicitly, and if this problem falls under that policy, then apologies for the post. It it’s sufficiently separate from sleep, I’d appreciate help understanding the cause of the wake failure.

  93. Hi Andrew, I’m struggling getting audio to work in my system. These are my specs.

    Asus H97M-PLUS, I5-4590, Using onboard graphics HD4600
When I run toledas scripts I get this
“Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem
    No system files were changed”
I asked for help from toleda, he looked at the ssdt, ioreg and other files and told me to disable HDEF in ssdt. I’d love to get some pinters as to how that can be achived.

BTW I’m using the Nvidia ssdt from Haswell.dmg

    Thank you for your help.

    • Do not listen to him. Please read the Audio READ ME on the DMG for Asus and MSI users which you did not read. 🙂

Once you do that you will understand what needs to be done to make the patch work since he refuses to fix his patcher.

      • Thank you Andew it works now. I had done the changes on the previous install but due to other changes it didn’t work, but forgot to change it this time.

Next week I’ll be attempting to fix iMessage by using a serial and an MLB from a dead mid 2012 mackbook pro. I’ll need to change settings in the SMBIOS and was wondering whether I’ll need to change the fakesmc kext.

        • You do not need to do anything to enable iMessages with any other files. Follow are guide here on Rampage Dev. The files on the DMG have everything you need to enable it. Works on every install that I have ever done if you follow that guide to the letter.

Can I use the new Slice’s FakeSMC 3.4.1 instead of the other one included in your DMG?
Because I saw that your Kozlek’s FakeSMC is very old.
    Thanks

    • We would not recommend changing the FakeSMC. We use a old version for a good reason and its keyed for the said systems. The age of a FakeSMC does not matter and we rarely update as there is no need.

  97. Hi again!

    I have other question.
I’ve noticed that in Haswell DMG there are only SSDTs, but is it necessary to make a DSDT in your method and use both together?

    Thanks

  98. Hi Andrew

I had a successful installation following your guide on El Capitan, but I have a question.
My mobo is a Gigabyte Z97X-SLI, chipset 9.

When I use the SSDT, in System Report / Hardware / Sata-SataExpress, all drives show “Intel 8 Series Chipset”.
When I don’t use it, the drives show “Generic AHCI”.

If I have a mobo with chipset 9, why appears chipset 8?
    is this normal?

    Thanks.

    Reply
    • This is hardcoded in the SSDT. This is due to Apple never using the 9-Series chipset so we just load the other driver. We hard coded it so you don’t have to have the SATA ports set to ACHI in the BIOS since the SSDT hands off a supported Device ID. Clever right? 😉

  99. Hi Andrew,
i have the Asus Z97 Deluxe Mobo with the 4790K without a dedicated grapics card atm.
But the mobo has 1150 ALC audio and you “only” offer 887 ALC audio in you DMG.
Is this correct, or do i need other kexts besides yours?
And do you prefer injection with the kexts in Clover or having them in S/L/E?
    Trying to install 10.11.5 ElCap.
Or should i go with 10.10?

    Thanks and Kind regards!

  100. Hello.

My mobo Asus Maximus Hero VI dead.
I want to buy the same one. I saw on ebay the Asus Maximus VI Hero/G50AB for $139.
Do you think that mobo, G50AB, is the same to the original?
I have never seen before that model.
Could I use the same SSDT?

    Thanks Andrew.

  101. I have a Haswell System, Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7 TH with Dual AMD Video Cards that I got up and running with your Haswell.DMG. Over all everything seems to be working fine with the exception of some random freezes that I think I might have solved, but ht e issue I am wanting to ask about is the motherboard-integrated USB3 ports. They are not working. Fortunately, the USB3 Ports that I have on a PCI card, as well as some USB3 ports that are on the top of my case that plug into the motherboard on the inside of the case, well, they seem to be working fine. Any tips on how to fix these USB ports? I wasn’t sure if I should be looking for fixes on XXXX.com since I used your DMG on this build. Thanks for any help you can provide!

    • What are you doing when you have a Lockup?

      Reply
      • The lockups don’t seem to be related to the specific activity I am doing at the time that they happen, but they don’t ever happen when the computer is idle, like at night when I’m not using it, so who knows. I have had it lock up when downloading software updates (downloading only, not installing) but most often when editing video with Final Cut Pro X, because that is mostly what I do with my Hackintosh, the main purpose of my build. Any clues there?

  102. Hello Everyone,
Thanks to Andrew’s expertise, I was able to Install OS X Captain perfectly. But I stupidly forgot to turn off automatic software updates and my Hasckintosh updated itself to I have no clue what OS X, and now when I try to boot into Mac OS X, it shows the apple sign for around 15-20 seconds, then replaces the apple sign with a forbidden sign. I know this might only be fixable with a clean install, but I have a lot of personal data on there that it would be a huge pain if at all possible to recover that data elsewhere. I would appreciate if you can try to help me fix this issue. If you need more info, feel free to E-Mail me. (dreadmarz16@gmail.com)

  104. Note: In the first line the there should be more space between boot.efi and OxsAptioFixDrv. I can boot into the recovery, and I was thinking about reinstalling OS X. Would that erase all my data? And what do you think about it?

  105. I’m sorry, but I am not very savvy on the subject of Hackintoshes and I do not know how to do that. And just FYI, I am booting from my hard drive (A SSD). And I also do not have the USB that I used to install Mac OS X onto my computer anymore.

    • If anyone else needs the answer, here in the future, here is how to do this:

      1. Take the drive that contains OS X, connect is to another Hack/Mac computer. Run the Clover installer, choose the drive with the problem, uncheckmark “OxsAptioFixDrv”, checkmark “OxsAptioFix2Drv”, run the installation. Put the drive back and boot

      2. Connect a new drive to the computer with the problem, connect the Hackintosh Install USB, use it to install Mac OS X on the new drive, once done you run the Clover installer, choose the drive with the problem, uncheckmark “OxsAptioFixDrv”, checkmark “OxsAptioFix2Drv”, run the installation. Disconnect the new drive and disconnect the USB drive, reboot.

  106. Hi Andrew,

First of all thanks for the work. Are you releasing an updated Haswell.dmg? Specially the SSDT? The SSDT included in the dmg works great at my yosemite and el cap builds. It gives me a working Power Management. With Sierra Power Management doesn’t work.

    Here’s my specs:

    i7-4790k
    Asus h97i-plus
    Intel GFX HD4600

    Thanks.

    • What issues do you have with power management? There are no updates as of right now for Haswell. Only x79 and x99 DMG at this time need updates from what we have found so far.

      Reply
      • Power management on Yosemite and El Cap with your SSDT gives me a lot of cpu states. Idle state is 800 mhz and load states goes to 4.2 to 4.4.
But in Sierra, my cpu just fluctuate from 3.0 to 4.0. And it never rest. I mean even without doing anything, the cpu just jumps to 3.0-3.6-4.0.
With El Cap, idle state will give me straight line at 800mhz.

        Sleep is working though.

        • Email me about this and we can try to see if this is a system specific issue or a general issue. Thanks!

        • Hi Andrew,

I have sent you an email a week ago but haven’t heard from you yet. Please just tell me if uou want me to send the email regarding my issue again.
          Thanks.

  107. Hi, I read your guide a few times and I don’t quite get it. I want to install OSX Sierra on my PC (i5 4590, GTX 960, Asus Z97-C) and I’m not sure which step is about installing the OSX installer onto my USB drive for later installation onto my PC. So far i’ve downloaded the official dmg from the App Store, as well as the “Haswell DMG” and the “Installation DMG”. Sorry if this is outrageously noob of me and thanks from taking the time to read me.

    Reply
    • Its ok. You need the Install DMG first. Read and follow each step.

Now that you have the App Downloaded from the App Store mount the Install DMG. Then follow the steps laid out in the instructions. Once the USB is formatted you will apply Step 1 Folder which has the Scripts that puts the Installer onto the USB.

  108. Hi there!

Could you please make a DSDT for GA-Z97X-UD5H rev 1.0
There’s one on your website but for GA-Z97X-UD5H rev 1.2.

    Or they’re 100% compatible?

    Thanks a lot!

    Reply
    • No. We do not make DSDT’s and if you read the Read Me on the DMG you would know that the version number is for the file within and has nothing to do with the board. Your simply not reading the information provided and skipping the most important step! Reading!
