The following guide will show how to download, compile and install the latest version of Chameleon Bootloader onto a Hackintosh system. This will all be accomplished using Terminal under Mac OS X. This will allow access to the latest Chameleon Bootloader and not be reliant on other sources.

    I tried this guide 3 times without error, but it still won’t let my hackintosh to boot from HDD.

    Fyi : I use 120GB mSSD Kingston, 1 partition only, GUID, Lenovo E420, i5-2430M.

    Any suggestion ?

    I have tried but still no luck at all stuck at this part
    Here is a copy of the log

    I don’t really know where is the mistake

  5. ./fdisk440 -e /dev/disk0
    After the above step it shows me the below error:

    “fdisk440: could not open MBR file /usr/standalone/i386/boot0: No such file or directory
    Enter ‘help’ for information”

    i can follow the next steps without error but after the restart i dont see the /Extra folder. so i think the Chameleon didnt install. i m running mavricks on vmware palyer 6.0.5 on ubuntu. i am trying to install it to get rid of the – “No such device error” on the App Store app. thanks

    I am very new and am having difficulty installing 10.10.4 . When i boot with -v it always ends with: [ PCI configuration begin ]
    I have tried many flags like: -v nv_disable=1 ncpi=0x2000 cpus=1 PCIRootUID=1
    and many deviations along these lines.

    I have a Sabertooth x79, i7 4820k, Geforce GTX 960.

    Any and all help appreciated,


  7. Hello! Trying to install using 10.9 (BANNED), but it does not start, I see an apple on a gray screen.
    I have tried bootflags:
    npci=0x2000 -x- v -f
    npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=YES \ NO

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-x99-UD5 WIFI with an F9 bios

    Graphics Card: GTX 980 GAMING 4G

    CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K

    RAM: 32 GB

    BIOS Loaded Optimized Defaults
